Suru designs and deploys immersive, hackathon-styled events and challenges in demand gen environments for largely SaaS organisations seeking real, authentic growth. None of us remember the what, it’s the how we feel that creates the memory. Creating emotional connection enables our customers to plant solid foundations, paving the way for real, tangible opportunity and growth.

Why Suru?
With over two decades of experience planning and managing events, we know how to create moments that matter. Hackathon style events have a multitude of moving parts and are not for the faint hearted.
These sit at the heart of our growing community. Unlike many commercial member communities, we believe in giving back and sparking the creativity of marketing professionals to get really creative outside of their 9-5. Building for a fully functioning non-profit who implements those solutions for their cause, brings great satisfaction.
We are a community of doers and happy to operate at a human level, outside the echo chambers of social distortion, soulless slack groups and passive webinars.

The name Suru comes from the Japanese verb する, meaning "to do." It perfectly ties into our mission of learning and growing through hands-on experience. We believe the best way to innovate, collaborate, and achieve meaningful outcomes is by rolling up your sleeves and actively engaging. It's not about just talking, it's about doing, connecting and being.
